What vehicles does TowingIreland.ie recover?

Heavy vehicles only — anything with a gross vehicle weight (GVW) from 3,500kg up to 44,000kg and at least 18 feet long. That includes rigid trucks, HGVs, artics and tractor units, buses, coaches, large motorhomes, tippers, refuse trucks and plant or agricultural machinery. We do not handle cars, small vans or motorbikes.

How much does HGV recovery cost in Ireland?

Heavy recovery is priced per job. The cost depends on the vehicle's weight and length, whether it is loaded, the distance, the location (motorway, site or off-road) and whether specialist equipment such as an underlift or upright recovery is needed. Do you cover all of Ireland?

Yes. Heavy recovery requests are accepted from all 32 counties, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
